                                                       Özlem ALKAN (Neuroradiologist)

 Özlem ALKAN was one of the last guest of STEM webinar.She intended to be a medical doctor when she was 16.She passed all  tough exam and finally

became a student of  Ankara Faculty of Medicine. Last year of faculty,she decided  to be a radiologist.

Especially neroradiology was interesting for her.She got the exam and she became a specialıst doctor

after completed assistanship of 9 Eylül University faculty of medicine and then she got the title of''Professor'in 2015. 

'Now she is very successfull academician  doctor of Başkent University hospital in ADANA.

She is especially related with pediatric neuroradiology.She enjoys to evaluate the MR and CT of the children who have loss of hearing .She likes teamwork with good clinicians.

                                           FULYA ÖZER  (E.N.T doctor)

      Fulya ÖZER was  one of our last guest of STEM webinar.She wanted to become a doctor when she was a child  ,her first patient was her grandfather.He was ill because of heart failure.She had examined him using handmade steteschopes which is made of her crown on her hair tiding up a rope ended up a coin in the mddle of it .She worked very hard and became a student in Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine.

Last yearof Faculty she had to decide about specialty.Senior Ömer Özkan who performed first face transplant operation in Turkey,asked her:Why don't you be a E.N.T doctor ,escepicially audotorıal surgery .Now she is performing koklear implant operation successfully at Başkent University hospital in Adana.When she see the first  response of deaf children after operatıon,she thanks God feeling a divine power.

 Beste Selekoğlu was the second guest of our STEM webinar.She was dreaming of herself as an owner of her company.She is  just 28. She overcome lots of difficulties since her graduatıon from the university.

Her family has  always supported her.She worked very hard ,at last she got what she want.Now she is the one of top ten list of Adana's entrepreneur.She is owner her company and still working hard to get better.

As you know Zuhal Karagöz Genç was the guest of first Stem webinary.She shared her memories with our students and also she had some advices for them.She pointed out that knowing what job you will have in the future is very important and of course to be very diligent in making this dream come true.She told that altough her mother wanted her to work in public she became an academic at the university.

At that moment she and her husband are still studying in Adıyaman University at Central Research Labarotary and also they are producing disinfectant and liquıd soaps to fight against the new type of coronavirus, collecting ethyl alcohol from university .
